Description: This position is responsible for all installations and customer training of Molecular Diagnostic Instruments (mainly PCR based) for this multi-national Diagnostics Company. Other responsibilities include pre-sales support for the field sales team, demonstrations in customer laboratories and assistance at trade shows and seminars. Ongoing customer applications assistance and technical support are key components of this role. Our client is a major global manufacturer with significant career growth opportunities and an excellent compensation and benefit program.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be degreed, with a preference for an individual with molecular biology training. Significant in-lab experience (minimum 2 years) of working in PCR applications (Instruments and reagents). Effective communication skills for training purposes and the ability to work in a team environment and in a sales atmosphere. This is a field based position with approximately 40 % travel. Valid Drivers License required. Since travel to the USA may be required, valid documentation will be necessary.
