Qualified Social Worker – Children’s Services - Croydon

Swim Social Work Recruitment are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to join a Children/Immigration Team based in Croydon. This is a full time, temporary post for 2 months. You will have; *A knowledge of immigration and children's services
*A recognised social work qualification and be able to provide evidence of registration to the GSCC.
*Post qualification social work experience
*A knowledge of key legislation relevant to professional social care work
*A knowledge of the functions of a health and social care department and related agencies
*A knowledge of methods to plan and review services for the client group
*Experience of managing a complex case load
*An ability to organise and prioritise work and manage time effectively
*Strong influencing and negotiating skills with clients and other health professionals
*Experience of producing reports for a variety of audiences
*Good IT skills
*An ability to work independently and within a team.
*Knowledge of social diversity and equal opportunities and the ability to demonstrate this throughout all aspects of practice
