Supports Senior Communications Engineer in planning, design and implementation of IT videoconferencing core technologies. Works with senior engineer in validating new technologies to enhance the videoconferencing environment by: creating and managing test plans, writing and communicating results and recommendations of testing, working with preferred vendor (Polycom) on issues and bugs relevant to the test criteria. Maintains life cycle and documentation of the videoconferencing core environment. Have ongoing responsibilities to help manage internal and outsourced resources. Supports daily operational service delivery, asset tracking, and vendor stewardship. Communicates across the organization to facilitate the highest level user experience while also driving compliance to organizational information policies. Experienced at working in a global ITS organization including prior Communications Services experience. Must have strong Polycom core technology experience along with some Microsoft background relevant with Polycom interoperability.
The hiring manager stated they really need a stronger Polycom person with network experience. They should have CMA and DMA experience included in their toolchest.
