JOB DESCRIPTION: Alliance Office Solutions is looking for a top performing Title Clearing Coordinator. The ideal candidate must come from a mortgage or title agency. S/he will be supporting the Title Specialists/Examiners in all of the following job duties:
-Order releases and payoffs
-Obtain taxes
-Research judgment liens and tax liens
-Handle vesting issues
-Search, analyze, and evaluate records on titles to land and homes
-Make sure that the title to a property is free of any encumbrances or outstanding exceptions that may affect its sale or use such as liens, zoning restrictions, unpaid property taxes, etc.
-Report findings to Title Examiners in order to issue title insurance
-Search for copies of government records and other documents, including statistics and street and land map books, to determine the legal status of a title
-Verify ownership and the legal description of a property
-Copy or abstract pertinent information from government documents
-Review data and submit reports on the title to the property
-Prepare descriptions of properties
-Prepare and issue policies that guarantee the legality of a title
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have a min of 1+ years of experience for an escrow/title agency
-Knowledge of order payoffs, releases, liens, and title commitments
-High School diploma
-Good communication skills
-Great customer service skills
-Multi-tasker
-Critical thinker
Pay Rate: $12 - 14/hr
