Transmission Experienced ASON Engineer Roles and Responsibilities of Service Provider and Customer Service Provider responsibilities include but, not limited to You will report directly to Network Product Manager of NIS dept in Turkey or the person specified by the manager
You will work closely with transmission technical team on issues related to ASON Implementation included and not limited in ASON Network Design, ASON Service Planning and Deployment, Site Migration from traditional to ASON, and will, when required, assist project members in meetings with the Client on all the above ASON issues.
Deliverables:
» Project technical management (include trial, test and commercial project) responsible for ASON implementation, and execute the plan within schedule
» Participate kick-off meeting with customer for the assigned project
» Responsible for technical issue clarification with customer.
» Cooperate with project manager to define scope of work and responsibility Matrix with customer and subcontractor. Discuss with customer and subcontractor for these concerned issues and work out an agreement signed by both parties.
» Network design (HLD/LLD) report
» Service planning report
» Producing nominal plan or supervising producing nominal plan by 3rd party.
» Deliver and maintain input and thresholds of nominal plan.
» Check or perform line of site survey.
» Control work and form flow.
» Produce and Check detail design.
» Assist on customer demands or questions.
» Assist and supervise outsourced tasks and personnel.
» Responsible to determine and solve handover problem
» Reporting
» Transmission network design (HLD&LLD) report
» Transmission service planning report
» ASON test technical proposal
» ASON acceptance report
The requirements for Engineers
» Fluent in English.
» DWDM/SDH implementation experience more than 3 years
» Strong knowledge of DWDM/SDH/ASON.
» Strong operation skill of U2000, MDS6600 and MDS6630
» Excellent in communication skill and be able to convince the customer
» Necessary project management skill
