I currently have clients looking for a Triage Nurses to work on a temporary basis. We cover throughout the UK but currently have clients looking in London, Surrey, Essex and Kent. You will need to be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with up to date NMC PIN with experience working in either accident and emergency or a general practice setting.
Your remit will consist of a variety of duties including, telephone triage, minor injuries, initial assessments, health promotion, giving advice and guidance on a range of injuries / illnesses and also participating in treatment room nursing.
Skills/Requirements for Triage Nurse:
* NMC Registration
* Post qualification experience, including experience in an acute setting
* Deliver first point contact care for patients
* Provide patient information and education
* Assist with diagnostic interventions and clinical treatments
* Ensure full and accurate records are maintained and confidentially held
