Teradata Designer

Our client is a major Global Technology Consultancy with a track record of successfully delivering some of the most complex, international transformation programmes across banking, retail/fmcg and telecoms. I am currently building the Manchester based Data Management/Data Warehousing team that will be working on a major data warehousing project for a tier one UK retail bank. We need an experienced Teradata designer. It is highly desirable to have had significant experience in the Financial Services industry (whether banking, insurance) but this is only a preference.

You will need to have the required (below):
- 5-8 years of experience in Teradata.
- Possess the ability to translate design concepts, integrate Teradata with 3rd party BI tools, and handle the productionization of Teradata components.
- A strong understanding in the FSLD - solution provided by Teradata.
- Substantial experience in Datamodelling, business intelligence, data integration, data migration.
- Substantial experience of having worked in the end to end life cycle of project implementation
- Be able to develop strategies to enhance user effectiveness.
