JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a prestigious mid-sized law firm specializing in bankruptcy, foreclosure and repossession is looking for a top performing Title Policy Typist. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented as they will be transcribing judicial reports, titles, policies and other related documents. Working knowledge of title documents and associated court materials is mandatory. The following job duties required for this opportunity are:
-Typing foreclosure title reports such as preliminary and final judicial reports, title commitments, endorsements, and policies.
-Typing miscellaneous correspondence and foreclosure documents.
-Preparing and submitting requests for new and updated title searches.
-Reviewing documents to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with applicable court requirements.
-Preparing and assembling materials for recording.
-Maintaining required records and files.
-Photocopying and faxing materials.
-Sorting/Distributing documents to appropriate parties.
Salary Range: $26,000-$30,000
QUALIFICATIONS:
-3+ years of title and escrow experience
-Superb typing skills
-The ability to be focused and detail-oriented for extended periods of time
-Previous experience as a policy typist
-H.S. Diploma or GED
