GP Locum in North London - Permanent/Fixed Term

Fresh Medical Recruitment has a position available for a GP locum in North London from 20/06/2011 to . This locum is for Permanent/Fixed Term. We are looking to employ a part time GP who can provide focus on the patient experience, maintain exceptional levels of clinical expertise and show excellent communication skills. We are looking for a GP to work 24 hours per week; three 8 hour sessions are to be worked between Friday and Monday. The successful candidate will need to be full flexible in regards to working days and nights across these times.

The successful candidate will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team providing excellent levels of teaching to junior members of the team and helping to ensure speedier access to our services and therefore healthier, happier patients.

The successful candidate will:
*Be GMC registered and be on the GP register
*Have recent experience of A&E
*Be familiar with and able to use x-rays and diagnostics
*Be willing and able to work on a rota basis
*Be on a PCT performers list
*Manage the practice caseload in partnership with other practitioners to ensure quality outcomes for patients and carers
*Provide appropriate medical leadership as appropriate to practice requirements
*Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and level of health care needs
*Prescribe generically for patients as appropriate to need
*Provide appropriate health promotion and preventative health care advice to all patients
*Maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professional code and requirements.

Pay Rate for this locum is up to 90,000GBP per annum depending on experience.

Applicants must have:
* GP Performers List with local PCT or LHB
* GMC GP registration
* Permission to work in the UK
* Relevant experience (Experience of working as a GP in the NHS is essential)

Assistance will be provided with regard to accommodation and travel arrangements on some occasions.
