The company are going through a period of expansion through many major successes and need the additional staff, particularly in the projects division to manage the successful delivery of internal and external projects.
The role:
Reporting to a senior project manager, applicants will be experts in professional project management methodologies and the use of such approaches.
The projects typically exhibit high levels of complexity, risk, and impact on the company. The delivery capability utilises a 2-vendor outsourced model, engaging both offshore and onshore resource. An incumbent in this position typically manages several projects at a time, with varying levels of functional and technical scope and scale. Such projects may seek to realise both strategic and operational benefits.
Skills needed:
* A combination of: AS400, OLAP, Oracle, .Net, Cognos, Pega, Biztalk, IBM Portal, SQL Server, document management, web applications and data warehousing.
* Commercially experienced Project Manager
* Experienced in vendor management
* Financial services background
