Virtualisation Consultant/Architect - Server Virtualisation - VMware - London area with occasional visits to the SE London office, and occasional working from home. I am currently seeking a Virtualisation expert with experience in designing, deploying and/or optimising enterprise-class solutions. Responsibilities will span the entire project life cycle. Much of the work is with VMware but expertise in Citrix and/or Hyper-V will also be considered.
The company is 5 years established, already employs 50 talented people, friendly and professional and success is driven by technical competency. They are Cisco Gold partnered (doing a lot of Unified Compute System work) and accredited EMC, VMware and Microsoft partners. They have recently won numerous industry awards. People like working here.
This is a complete life cycle role form pre-sales through to implementation through to post sales. You don't need experience in pre and post sales but nice to have if you have. The role will provide a good opportunity to develop these skills. What you do need is strong Virtualisation skills (probably supported by VCP), VMware is preferable, although Citrix or Hyper-V experience is also fine.
What you must have in support of your technical skills are good communication skills, I am looking for someone who is comfortable working with people and creates a positive impression.
My client partrners with EMC on the storage side of things so if you have any exposure to EMC then that would be a nice bonus.
They have a varied client base which includes leading financial institutions and the Health sector.
Career prospects are good due to the growth of the company.
Client work will be in and around the London area, and there will be some opportunity to work from home.
Please apply via the link below and I will reply to your email.
Regards, Mike Brady.
