Project Manager - £700 day Project manager is require for a top tier Retail Bank to support the Balance Sheet Management team in managing a project to design and implement QRM. The role itself is to provide: *Support with the management of an integrated master project plan for all change (QRM) initiatives. Support with the overall execution, governance and control and all major projects oversight. Raise and help resolve risks and issues. Investigate, evaluate and advise COO and MD, Balance Sheet Management
* Lead key projects (QRM)on behalf of the COO, Balance Sheet Management
* Weekly/Monthly Project reporting and oversight
Internal Stakeholder Management
* Meet frequently with key management (eg Finance, Risk, Coverage, Product) and Group Treasury to ensure that any cross functional issues are being identified and addressed where required
Coordinate:
* Final delivery of the business requirements
* Final delivery of the functional and non functional requirements
* Implementation delivery
* UAT
* Manage project risks, issues & dependencies
* Manage Scope within associated assumptions
* Manage the Implementation plan, including approach, timeline, resourcing, etc
* Provide weekly status updates to the steering committee members
* Obtain acceptance/signoffs on deliverables
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of project management
Quality and Process Improvement methods
Knowledge in balance sheet management/Treasury concepts, methods and tech
The creativity and technical skills to direct highly technical staff
Good understanding of the Bank's Risk, Liquidity and Capital framework an
Knowledge of strategy development and implementation
This role requires a solid understanding of balance sheet management and Treasury concepts and products from a Financial Services background.
