Projects Service Delivery Officer

Projects Service Delivery Officer Contract - 3months + plus extensions Our client is one of Australia's top ten ICT systems integrators & solutions providers, spanning managed services, technology solutions & information management.

Working within the Projects/Services and Delivery teams, this role is critical to the successful delivery of IT Services that support the core business of Managed Services.

The role will be responsible for providing ongoing operational oversight and support of:
The integration of services provided by the IT Service Providers to ensure seamless delivery to its customers.
Application changes, Server changes
Monitoring and managing supplier performance and driving performance improvement
Managing stakeholder expectations and communicating progress
Managing operational issues with the Service Providers
Ensuring consistency and integration across different Service Providers/vendors and assisting with the transition of new services into Managed Services.

You will produce detailed reports depicting:
Network availability
Device availability
Devices that fail SLA's
Base level analysis/troubleshooting
Who needs?
What needs?

Experience of service level, stakeholder and vendor management is essential for the role - ideally managing suppliers as a customer of outsourced vendors. Familiarity with Service Management methodologies, framework and processes (ITIL, eSCM, COBIT etc.) would be a definite advantage.
Skills within the telecomms and network arena, coupled with previous systems integrator experience would stand you well in this role

Projects have short lead time, with delivery from 1, 2 or 3 weeks. You will have experience of analysing requests and following through with tasks. This is a new role in a new team, so previous delivery experience and previous mentoring/upskilling of FTE's is essential.

Your excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to resolve service issues, and capacity for building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and customers, both internal and external, will ensure your success in this position.
