Ward Sister - Orthopaedics - London Swim Nursing Team are looking to recruit a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse within a surgical orthopaedic unit based in a private hospital in South London. This is a permanent position. The role is based on a 16 bedded elective surgical orthopaedic unit, increasing to 23 beds in the near future.

You MUST have experience of supervising staff including more Junior Nurses as the role will involve deputising for the Ward Manager.

Requirements:

*Registered Nurse Level 1
*NMC Registration and PREP requirements
*Post Registration qualification
*ENB998
*Relevant post registration experience
*Phlebotomy training desirable
*Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
*Health and Safety training
*Lifting and Handling
***Minimum of 3 years orthopaedic experience with 2 years as a senior staff nurse, and currently working in a orthopaedic setting***
*Orthopaedic course preferable. Mentorship course required.
